Cragowlet House East is a Grand Victorian ”B” listed property on the shore of Loch Long with uninterrupted views across the loch to Bute, Arran & the Cowal Peninsula. Arrochar, Loch Lomond and Helensburgh are each less than 30 mins by Car.
The villages of Cove and Kilcreggan lie in the middle of the Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park area, whilst not actually in the National Park.
The house has a Strictly NO PETS policy and is non smoking.
The house sleeps 6 guests in three good-sized bedrooms configured as 1 twin and two doubles. The larger of the doubles is en-suite. The house is child friendly with no low-level breakable items.
The spacious lounge has seating for 8 with a large bay window with very large (2.5M high) sash windows. It also has a 10kw log burner complete with optionally fitted fire guard.
The kitchen dinner has seating for 6 and is well equipped with a 5 ring gas / electric Rangemaster cooker, fridge, freezer, dish washer, microwave grill/oven, high pressure coffee machine and coffee grinder,
The bathroom has a claw footed roll top bath and a large free-standing shower and blue-tooth speaker system.
The lounge has a 42″ widescreen television with DVD player, Sky TV and BT Sport. BT Broadband and wifi access is available throughout the house.
Most of our bookings are made through Airbnb and Tripadvisor which also contains the majority of our reviews. (google search Cragowlet House East for link). This site is to provide guests, who would like to book direct, with appropriate contact details.

We stayed here for a weekend with friends. To say we were sorry to leave is an understatement! This house is divine. Lovely area, right on the shore of the loch, gorgeous interior making for an incredibly relaxing stay. We have been traveling for over a year now and it is so refreshing to find a gem like this! Can’t wait to go back and would highly recommend this!

A warm welcome & great hospitality from Brian & Nancy. The house is well equipped, with everything we needed and lovely views. Great area for exploring or just chilling (which we did both of).
